The CA168-E is a derived type from CA168 basic version. It is
equiped with a extended transparent terminal cover, reserved with
slot for MCB. This setup offers safe maintenance and meter
inspection to avoid electric leakage and shock. The meter is a
single phase two wire keypad based STS prepaid meter. It is used
for low voltage residential and light commercial environments. With
the dynamic range of 5(80)Amp current and 30Vm RF withstand
immunity, the meter can operate in very severe environments.
The CA168-E is built in a compact BS footprint housing of
polycarbonate fire retardant closure and intended for rich metering
features. It can provide both consumers and utility users broad
range of information such as V, A, PF, P, balance for them to
budget their usage. It also supports tamper detection and SRE
(significant reverse energy) measurement for active energy.
The meter is provided with a metal plate on the back. This design
can tightly fix the meter body agaisnt the mounting surface to
prevent tamper and sabtage, plus BS footprint mounting CA168 is an ideal for both new
installation and retrofitting applications. A utility can generate
