Entry Level Single Phase Electricity Meter 1600 Pulse Rate STS Prepayment Meter

The CA168-I is an entry level low price single phase electric meter with prepayment mode selection. It has build-in contactor or load switch that disconnects on preset limit of power threshhold, credit expiry, and tamper. The meter is intended for low income residential environments. Low price as it is, the meter is still rich in features, supporting bi-directional and neutral measurement, multi-rate and tariff plans, and data exchange with interrogation kit through an infrared optical port.

The meter is single phase two wire setup and built in a compact British Standard 5685 footprint mounting housing with polycarbonate fire retardant material and rugged RF withstand immunity of 30Vm, able to work in harsh environments. Tamper detection is another feature of this meter. Cover open, reverse connection and neutral missing can be detected and the meter disconnects the load on such tamper. In all the CA168-I is an ideal revenue protection tool for utility and service providers and convenient credit dispenser for consumers.
